A new year is upon us.

2013. I can hardly believe it’s almost 2013!
2013 is a big year for Oreck. It’s our 50th anniversary and it’s the year of what is quite possibly our most exciting product launch since David kicked it all off for us in 1963. Throughout the year ahead, I’m excited to learn and share more Oreck history with you as a part of our celebration or our heritage.
The image above is a piece of history on its own. In 1907, we celebrated the first Times Square ball drop. At the time, it was made of iron and wood, lit with one hundred 25-watt light bulbs.
Today, millions of people from around the globe ring in the new year with a New Year’s Eve Ball designed by Paul Gregory using LED technology that weighs 1,100 pounds and is six feet in diameter.
As our company changes and the New Years Eve ball evolves, I’d love to hear about the changes you plan to make in your own life and homes this year. Whether you’re eating healthier, spending more time with your family, getting organized or working toward a new job, please share your goals and what you want for your future.
You never know… maybe we can help…
